Brand new Handmade by Levi blade OFF, flared handle, beautiful scaly koto outer ply, allwood.

The core is a special ayous wood has higher density very hard to find, as in Butterfly Cresail. The intermediate ply is larice, very hard to find in this high grade special selected but is similar to spruce, little harder, faster, and has clearer feedback than spruce and cypress. The outer ply is a very beautiful veneer koto scales.

The blade is stiff, is quite hard, has good feeling and great power. The Levi blade is well balanced and feels very comfortable in hand. The scaly koto larice blade shows a fantastic solid hitting and looping, gives the feeling of a very high confidence due to high control that it has. The blade works great close or far from the table and the sweet spot is very extended. This blade has very low vibrations and some flex that makes it possible to produce faster, more spinney, more powerful loop-drives than other blades.
