Custom Made 7 ply with basalt OFF blade

Brand new Handmade by Levi 5-ply all-wood plus 2-ply composite fiber, flared handle, OFF:

Core: Kiri
Intermediate ply: Limba
Intermediate ply: Basalt fiber
Outer ply: Walnut black.

The outer layer is black walnut (American walnut) old at least 20 years, the core is special kiri as in the old Viscaria and the basalt fiber is as in the Nittaku Meister blades.
Each of the outer layers are made of two pieces glued together, but does not affect the playing characteristics.

The feeling of blade is almost the same as in the old Butterfly Viscaria, slightly slower but with a higher control. This blade is great for looping or blocking and is very good for driving and smashing. Great for service, produces much spin and linear speed, hit slowly goes slowly, hit hard goes by rifle. Work well in the short game but has more power to the middle and long distance from table.
