The outer layer is spruce, the core is special kiri as in the old Viscaria and the composite fiber is unidirectional carbon (it's a soft carbon) as in Red + Black Kazak blade.
This blade feels nearly stiff with a little bit flexiness. This blade is great for rallies and is made for new plastic ball but it is very good also for celluloid balls. Great for service and returns, produces a lot of spin and the speed is linear. The dwell time is increased and the blade has an exceptional control good for a technical game and various strokes. The trajectory of the ball is high and the blade work great near the table and to the middle distance from table.
